Refund policy

Return and Refund Policy

We accept returns within 14 days of delivery on eligible products. To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unused and in original condition
  • In original packaging with all included components and accessories
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

How to start a return

Email contact@rpmtuning.pro within 14 days of receiving your order to request a return authorization. Returns sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Approved returns must be sent to: RPM Tuning, Lot 11, Jalan Subang 6, Sungai Penanga, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia

Return shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any associated customs or import fees. We recommend using a tracked, insured shipping service. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.

For defective or incorrect items shipped from our end, we cover return shipping.

Restocking fee

A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns to cover inspection, processing, and inventory handling. Defective items returned within 30 days are exempt from this fee.

Non-returnable items

The following cannot be returned under any circumstances:

  • ECU tunes and tune files once delivered or flashed
  • ECU unlock services once the service is performed
  • Custom-built parts, including forged engines, custom turbo setups, and made-to-order items once production has begun
  • Installed parts once fitted to a vehicle
  • Race-only products (catless downpipes, off-road exhausts, race intercoolers) once removed from original packaging. These are sold for off-road and track use only
  • Gift cards and store credit
  • Final sale items

Damaged or defective items

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If an item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery at contact@rpmtuning.pro with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos or video clearly showing the issue
  • A description of the problem

We will arrange replacement, repair, or refund at our discretion. Defects or damage caused by improper installation, modification, misuse, or normal wear are not covered.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to get a different item is to return the original (subject to this policy) and place a new order.

European Union 14-day cooling-off period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery for any reason, in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive. Returned items must be in original condition and original packaging.

This cooling-off period does not apply to:

  • Custom-made or personalized products (custom tunes, custom-built engines, made-to-order parts)
  • Sealed goods unsealed after delivery for safety or performance reasons (ECU files, sealed race-only components)

These exemptions are permitted under Article 16 of the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval status. If approved:

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 business days
  • It may take additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the funds
  • The restocking fee, if applicable, is deducted from the refund amount

If more than 15 business days have passed since approval and you have not received your refund, contact contact@rpmtuning.pro.
