Every hard part we sell is guaranteed for as long as you own your car. Downpipes, intakes, manifolds, heat exchangers, chassis parts: if a part you bought from RPM Tuning fails, we replace it. Daily driver, weekend car, or track build. No time limit.
And because we're a tuning company, not just a parts shop, your custom ECU calibration is covered for life too. Details below.
The short version
- Covers every hard part sold by RPM Tuning, for the life of your ownership of the car.
- Track and dyno use is covered. Our parts are built for it. Using them hard is the point.
- No certified-mechanic requirement. Installed it yourself? Still covered.
- When a part fails, you order a replacement, send the old part back, and we credit you the full amount you paid on the original order as store credit.
- Your custom tune gets free revisions and updates for life, plus a free upgrade to the next stage when you buy the supporting hardware from us.
How it works
- Buy a part. Any hard part on this store qualifies from the day your order ships. Keep your order number. That's all the paperwork there is.
- Use it. Street, canyon, dyno, track day. There is no mileage limit and no time limit. The guarantee lasts as long as you own the car the part is installed on.
- If it fails, order a replacement. Purchase the same part again on a new order, then message us with both order numbers. If the part has been discontinued or superseded, contact us first and we'll sort out the closest current equivalent.
- Send the old part back and get your money back as store credit. Pack the failed part in the box your replacement arrived in and ship it to the return address we give you. Once it arrives and passes inspection, we issue store credit for the full amount you paid on the original order (excluding shipping and taxes). Your credit doesn't expire and applies to anything on the store.
Every returned part is inspected when it arrives. What you send back has to be the part you bought from us. Returns that don't match the original order won't be processed.
Covered on track. Yes, really.
Most warranties void the moment your car sees a circuit. Ours doesn't. We build parts for tuned cars and we expect them to get used like it. Track days, roll racing, dyno pulls: all covered, same as a grocery run.
The Lifetime Tune Guarantee
Hardware shops can't offer this one. Every custom calibration we deliver is covered for as long as you own the car:
- Free revisions for life. Datalog refinements, drivability tweaks, adjustments after a hardware change. Send us logs and we keep dialing it in.
- Free re-delivery. Lost your tune file, changed phones, reflashed to stock for a service visit? We resend your calibration at no charge.
- Free stage upgrades with RPM hardware. Bought a Stage 1 tune and later add downpipes from us? Your Stage 2 revision is free. Buy the hardware from RPM and the software to match it costs nothing.
The tune guarantee follows the car and its ECU. A new car means a new calibration.
What isn't covered
- Parts not bought from RPM Tuning. The guarantee only covers parts on your RPM order history. Sending back anything else (factory take-offs, parts bought elsewhere) counts as abuse and disqualifies you from the program.
- Accident or collision damage. A part damaged in a crash isn't a failed part.
- Improper installation. Failures caused by incorrect fitment, missing hardware, or damage during install aren't covered. DIY installs are fine. Botched ones aren't.
- Modified parts. Cut, welded, or altered parts are no longer the part we sold you.
- Parts that haven't failed. This is a replacement program, not a returns program. Returning working parts to cash out credit counts as abuse. For regular returns of unused items, see our standard returns policy.
- Tuning tools and third-party licenses. MHD, MG Flasher, and Autotuner licenses are covered by their own manufacturers.
- Cars you've sold. The guarantee is non-transferable. It applies to the original purchaser and ends when the car or the part changes hands.
High-value items (intake manifolds, heat exchangers) may need a short inspection period to confirm the failure before credit is issued. We'll keep you posted throughout.
FAQ
Is this real?
Yes.
How can you afford this?
We build our parts to not come back. When one does, replacing it is the cost of keeping you as a customer for the life of your car, and the next one.
Does it cover labor?
No. Parts only, whether it's a $49 filter or a $2,000 manifold. Labor, dyno time, and fluids are on you.
Do I need a certified mechanic to install it?
No. Install it yourself, have a friend do it, or use a shop. The guarantee applies either way, as long as the install itself didn't cause the failure.
What if I track or dyno the car?
Covered. That is the whole point.
I bought a kit and one piece failed. Do I reorder the whole kit?
No. Reorder just the failed component. When you return it, include all the associated hardware that shipped with your replacement (clamps, gaskets, bolts). Message us before ordering if you're not sure what to get.
The part I need is discontinued. Now what?
Message us before ordering anything. We'll find the closest current equivalent, and if there isn't one, we'll issue store credit toward an alternative, case by case.
Does this apply to international customers?
Yes. We ship worldwide and the guarantee applies worldwide. We cover the replacement part; return shipping, duties, and taxes are on you. All we ask is that you get the old part back to us.
What happens if I sell the car?
The guarantee ends with your ownership. It doesn't transfer to the buyer of your car or your parts.
How is this different from a normal return?
If a part arrives damaged, wrong, or you simply don't want it, use our standard returns process, which gets you a refund. The Lifetime Replacement Guarantee is for parts that fail in service, and it pays out in store credit.
How to make a claim
No forms, no portals. Message us on WhatsApp or email contact@rpmtuning.pro with your original order number, your replacement order number, and a photo of the failed part. We'll send you the return address and take it from there.
